Adding a Camera Page to Your Kiosk Flow

Integrating a Camera page into your kiosk flow allows for interactive features such as capturing customer photos for profiles, memberships, or fun engagements. This guide will walk you through setting up a Camera page within your kiosk flow.

Accessing the Camera Page

Open Your Kiosk Flow Editor: Begin by navigating to your kiosk flow editor where you manage your kiosk's functionalities.

Add a New Page: Click the purple plus button to add a new page. This is your access point to enhancing your kiosk's interactivity.

Choose "Camera": From the appearing menu, select the "Camera" option to add a Camera page to your flow, enabling photo capture capabilities.

Configuring Your Camera Page

Design Tab

Background: You can customize the background to align with your branding.

Header: You can add a header to the page if necessary.

Camera: You will need to select which data field you want the image to be stored in within the Contact's Profile. Then determine whether the picture is required to progress in the flow or not.

Page Tab

Page Name: Give your Camera page a descriptive name for easy identification.

Page Settings: Customize settings such as deactivating the page within the flow if needed, managing visibility during server communication, and setting auto-transition times.

Button: Customize the labels for the Back/Next buttons, show or hide the Back/Next buttons, or hide the top menu.

Page Filter Settings: Add filters to the page to control if this page will show for all Contacts or only Contacts that match a set of criteria.

Advanced Tab

Sync Settings: Decide if the page should sync with your server upon completion. This is particularly important for updating the contact profile.

Automatically Set Field Values: This setting allows you to set data on the Contacts profile based on completing this page. You could apply a data field like a Tag to each contact that uploads their driver's license so that way you can make sure they aren't prompted to upload again on their next check-in. If you set any type of data you can then use that data to filter against later or to further segment your database.

Security Codes:  Require a security code to proceed to the next page; you can add new codes if necessary.

Flow Settings

Back/Next Button Colors: Customize the background and text colors for the back and next buttons.

Idle Timeout: Set how the kiosk behaves when left idle (e.g., Do Nothing or other options like syncing if check-in started and resetting the flow without saving data).

Flow Security Codes: Apply security codes to the entire kiosk flow, ensuring data security throughout the process.
