How do I check to see if my iPad is connected to the internet

Verify Internet Connectivity

First, check to ensure that your device is connected to the desired WiFi network.

Step 1. On the device, go into the ‘Settings’ app.

Step 2. After opening the Settings, select the WiFi option.

Step 3. Check to ensure there is a ‘checkmark’ by the intended WiFi connection.

  • If not, select the correct WiFi network and enter the password when prompted.

Test Internet Speed

Next, you will want to check the speed of the current internet connection.

Step 1. To do so, on an iPad, find and open the ‘Safari’ app.

Ensure the Speed Test results are within the recommended operating range. Patch recommends operating speeds of 15mbps Download and 5mbps Upload however devices can run at lower speeds. Because the Kiosk Web App runs like a website if you can load google.com or your own website within the browser you shouldn't have any issues.
