Changing Your Device

If you need to switch to a different device for your Patch operations, follow these simple steps:

  1. Access Secondary Settings:

    • On the welcome screen of your iPad, locate the ‘version’ number in the lower left-hand corner.
    • Tap the version number 7 times with one finger to open the secondary settings page.
  2. Change Device:

    • On the secondary settings page, select the “Change Device” option from the left-hand menu.
    • Choose the correct device from the list of available options.

Identifying Your Current Device

To confirm which device record you are using:

  • Repeat the process of tapping the version number 7 times on the welcome screen (above).
  • The "Information" page will display the Account Name, Kiosk Flow name, Device Name, and Device ID.

Selecting the Correct Device When Re-Logging In

When you need to log back into the Patch Kiosk Web App:

  • Navigate to the devices page.
  • Identify the specific device (Device Name) that corresponds to the station at your store.
  • The Device Name acts as the unique identifier for your device.

Recommended Login Flow

To ensure a smooth login process and avoid creating unnamed or “ghost” devices, follow this recommended flow:

  1. Log In: Enter your credentials to access your Patch account.
  2. Select Account: Choose the appropriate account associated with your login.
  3. Select Device: Pick the named device from the list that corresponds to your location.
    • Note: Creating a new device record is possible but not recommended if a named device is already available for use.
  4. Select Flow: Choose the Kiosk Flow you wish to deploy or manage.
